Overview 

Launched each Independence Day, Paktree’s Eik Aur Darakht campaign is a celebrated nationwide movement. In 2018, the initiative reached record-breaking scale - many prominent Pakistani influencers and celebrities joined forces to champion tree planting across the country. 

Our Mission

To inspire every Pakistani, families, youth, influencers, communities, to take a meaningful step in mitigating climate change, celebrate national identity, and create a lasting green legacy. 

What We’re Doing

1. Tree Planting Drives 

• Public events in cities & villages every August 14 

• Hundreds of individuals planting at home and in groups 

2. #EikAurDarakht Campaign 

• Influencers from Karachi to Gilgit shared their planting moments 

• Paktree amplified these stories to build momentum 

3. Community Outreach & Partnerships 

• Schools, NGOs, and local governments hosted planting events 

• Thousands of seedlings distributed nationwide 

2018 Campaign Highlights 

• Massive influencer engagement: Leading Pakistani influencers led by example, tagging and encouraging their followers, creating a viral wave of green action.

• Unprecedented reach: The campaign garnered extensive social media buzz, with many posts, shares, and featured content across Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

• Real impact: Hundreds of planting events took place nationwide, urban and rural, resulting in hundreds of saplings rooted by caring citizens.
